TEA
Published travel super-app with AR, audio guides & an AI travel assistant.
TEA is a cross-platform travel & tourism app I build at Nullius In Verba — published on the App Store and Google Play. Visitors discover events, businesses, beaches, landmarks, audio guides and AR experiences, plan trips, and chat with an AI travel assistant.
The React Native/Expo app is the front door to a wider Turborepo monorepo (pnpm workspaces) spanning five apps — the mobile app, a NestJS API, a Next.js public website, an admin dashboard, and an MCP server — all in end-to-end TypeScript.
Architecture
- Mobile (iOS/Android): React Native + Expo Router, interactive map with marker clustering (MapLibre / Turf / Supercluster), Viro AR camera experiences, GPS discovery, audio guides and in-app AI chat.
- AI assistant: Anthropic Claude Agent SDK with Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools behind a vendor-agnostic LLM provider abstraction.
- Backend: NestJS (Fastify) + Prisma + PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Redis, BullMQ queues, MinIO (S3), JWT/Passport + Google/Apple sign-in + RBAC, FCM/APNs push.
- Web & Admin: Next.js 16 + React 19, content CRUD, map editors, charts; a GA4-powered analytics dashboard combining the Google Analytics 4 Data API with live Postgres queries and Redis caching.
